As we approach the High Holy Days and our favourite holiday season, we thought an update on our home country would be poignant. It is sure to be a very different one this year, with the second wave of COVID-19 and another lockdown, however we hope you stay safe and are able to celebrate in some form.
As the first country to impose a nationwide second lockdown and at a time when we would normally be getting together with our extended family, I know we will all find it challenging.
The new rules for the next 3-4 weeks state that all non-essential businesses that accept the public will need to close, the education system will close, public transport will be reduced and we should not be further than 500 metres from our homes. You can read the full guidelines here.
This is normally a time when we would see a high footfall of tourism across the country, however with new restrictions and international travel quarantines, it is likely 2020 will be a very different case for the next few weeks. After this time, we will be ready to assist you with any services, and it would be wise to start discussing with us now in order to plan ahead and be prepared.
Here are some examples of how we might be able to assist you:
- Where to stay
We have the latest information on the areas with least cases of coronavirus and where you should stay when visiting. We can do a pre-visit if required to check the hotel’s COVID policy and ensure everything is ready for your stay
- Places to visit
Currently what is open and accessible is a constantly moving target, we are keeping up to date on the situation and can help plan your itinerary and offer support during your stay to keep you safe.
- Transport
We can provide secure transport with our team, ensuring the car is cleaned in line with government guidelines. All of our professionals wear masks and are practising social distancing measures.
We can help you before you arrive and during your visit, please contact us for more information.
